Mr. Meyer has a broad base of experience in the high-technology world of design, programming, computers, and communication networks. He has developed specialized programming, encryption technology, video streaming, and cellular communications in the private sector and in government agencies. Selected to serve as CEO of Orbital Laboratories in 2011, he was the natural candidate selected to serve as CEO of SpectralCast, Inc. when the company went public in February of 2014. Previously, he served as Chief Technology Officer of The Berlian Group. Berlian had developed a new software system to streamline shareholder relations, using the internet and a custom-built green-screen studio. They produced over 100 commercials during their run, and were a major buyer of ad space from the cable industry.
Key to the Spectralcast development was specialized programming for information security. His experience in the communications industry began with four years as Chief Technology Officer at Global Access Telephone and Technology, Inc. A Veteran and a Patriot: Mr. Meyer served in the US Army, finished in the US Army Reserve, and is currently affiliated with the American Legion. He was one of the first people hired at Auto Desk, Inc. In charge of production under the Directors of Production, Col. John Kern, and his successor Mr. Charlie Peak, he successfully led his department’s growth and gained additional experience with computers while overseeing over 60 employees. Mr. Meyer adheres to the values and ethics of how business was done in the 1950s. While guiding technology that continually changes us, he remains firmly anchored in the morality that some things should remain the same.
