Raised in Iowa, Mr. Krantz started his work career as early as when he was strong enough to carry scoopfuls of corn to feed cattle, and then driving farm tractors by the age of seven. Still in grade school, Noel demonstrated a keen interest in mechanical design when he dismantled his mother’s mixer. His insatiable curiosity, linked with a keen grasp of mathematics, remained influential forces as Noel attended public school, then Iowa State University, where he studied agricultural business.
Developments in the family farm business brought Noel back to Titonka before completing his degree, but the young farmer never looked back as the family farm interests continued to expand. Noel married and raised his own family on the farm, involving his sons in the farm routine of raising cattle and planting crops. While actively farming, Noel enjoyed modifying and redesigning many of the mechanical components of his agricultural career. The continued exposure to such activities may be what led his three sons to each becoming mechanical engineers. He saw the merits in location based technology and became an early supporter, this along with his wealth of common sense is what he brings to the Vitality Prime Board.
